With high starting torque that can be maintained for an unlimited period of time, Hägglunds drives handle even the most unusual conveyor loading. Their compact design lets them squeeze into a small amount of space, while their pressure control protects the belt from overloads.
In addition, drive systems from Hägglunds combine infinitely variable speed with excellent movement control. Soft starts and stops keep belt stress to a minimum, and low speeds can be used to for easy inspection. Rather than walking the conveyor, the belt can simply be “inched” along.
