Always up to speed.
Optimising the production rate of feeders involves frequently varying the speed. Shockload-resistant drives from Hägglunds let you alter the speed as often as required, plus let you start and stop without limitation. High torque is always available, both at start-up and during low-speed operation.
Even the size of a Hägglunds drive is an advantage, since feeders are often installed in areas with limited space. Compared to an electro-mechanical drive train, a hydraulic drive takes up minimum space at the drive pulley. Our Compact motors are well suited to the task, providing maximum power with minimum bulk.
