Through hole kits let you use the central hole in a Hägglunds motor for more than just mounting on the driven shaft. They provide a unique advantage, making it possible to lead liquids or cables through the motor to the shaft itself.
Most commonly, through hole kits are used in the chemical, rubber and plastics industries, where they allow the temperature of the driven shaft to be monitored and controlled. However, they can even be found in other industries, for example in drilling applications.
